The Gianna Club is an association of Catholic women that exists to encourage women in their pursuit of excellence in their many vocations. St. Gianna Molla said, "Our task is to live holy in the present moment." Following her example as a working mom, professional woman, physician, and loving wife, we exist to support all vocations available to contemporary Catholic women.
FAITH | FAMILY | WORK | SERVICE
Once a month, in the Cellar at the church, we meet for different types of events. Heavy appetizers, childcare, and meals for kids are available at each event. We rotate types of events each month to try to meet the needs of women in every vocation. Event Topics:
The career cultivation events range anywhere from talks on business practices, ethics, or relating to faith in the workplace, to career networking, or developing job skills for young adults or continuing education for all.
The family events cover issues related to women's vocations, such as singleness, married life, motherhood (single or married), grandmotherhood, or even religious life.
Fostering Faith in Ourselves and Families
The events focusing on faith particularly feature discussions on practical ways to deepen and enrich the modern woman's faith amidst the stress and distractions of life.
At these meetings, Gianna Club members also plan local service outreaches, ways to help the Parish church, and an annual fundraiser to assist the Parish (and future school).
Members of Blessed John Henry Newman Parish: no cost.
Members of other parishes: $10 per person per event.

Prayer of Saint Gianna Molla
Jesus, I promise You to submit myself to all that You permit to befall me,
make me only know Your will.
My most sweet Jesus, infinitely merciful God, most tender Father of souls,
and in a particular way of the most weak, most miserable, most infirm
which You carry with special tenderness between Your divine arms,
I come to You to ask You, through the love and merits of Your Sacred Heart,
the grace to comprehend and to do always Your holy will,
the grace to confide in You,
the grace to rest securely through time and eternity in Your loving divine arms.
