Speaker: Fr. Patrick Moses
Topic: His conversion story

From investment banking and real estate development, Fr. Patrick Moses grew restless finding himself having less in common with things of this world and began searching for something greater and beyond his existence. Through prayer and the gift of being able to forgive, he found a true relationship with Jesus Christ, which ultimately lead to his call to the priesthood.

Father Patrick Moses was born in south Texas and is the youngest of three sons. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University, a B.A. Philosophy from St. John’s University, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Prior to his call to the priesthood, Fr. Patrick worked in the investment banking and real estate industries.

Fr. Patrick attended seminary at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. There, he received a Pontifical S.T.B. in Sacred Theology in 2002 and Pontifical S.T.L in Dogmatic Theology in 2004 both from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome.

Since his ordination in 2003, Fr. Patrick served as a parochial vicar at St. Irenaeus from 2004-2008, parochial vicar at Santiago de Compostela from 2008-2009, and as pastor of St. Irenaeus from 2009-2017. He was appointed rector of Holy Family Cathedral in 2017, where he currently serves.
